Yankee legend takes a swing at domestic violence at Kips Bay

New York Yankees manager Joe Torre visited the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club Wednesday to speak out against domestic violence. Torre, who was a witness to domestic violence as a child, started the Safe at Home Foundation. The foundation's guiding principle is that every child has the right to be safe at home. Torre encouraged the children to talk about their feelings regarding violence in the home.Torre also held baseball clinics for the children and helped them with their batting and pitching.
