Bronx students sharpen their pencils to register for high school

High school students in the Bronx began enrolling Monday at centers around the borough.

Students that need to register must bring either a birth certificate, passport or baptismal certificate; proof of address, immunization history and a transcript or most recent report card. Students and parents preparing for the 2005-2006 academic year can go to one of three school facilities to register: M.S. 45 Thomas C Giordano School, M.S. 127 Castle Hill School and the Monroe Education Campus.

The centers are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through September 30.Related Link: NYC Department of Education
