Fordham Rams strap on their helmets to kick off the season

The Fordham Rams football team packed their bags and donned their helmets to head to Rhode Island to open their season against the University of Rhode Island.

Fordham Coach Ed Foley says despite last year?s loss against the other Rams, his team is better prepared this season. Foley says Fordham players have been working hard during the off-season and will be playing with a better offense. Foley says the key for Saturday?s game is for his offense to sustain drives and to keep Rhode Island out of the end zone.

The Fordham Rams open their season at noon on September 3 against the Rhode Island Rams.
