Parkchester residents say NYPD not doing its job

Some Odell Street residents are complaining the NYPD is not doing its job to protect their Parkchester neighborhood.

Residents say on several occasions, teens and other individuals have been disturbing the peace by throwing loud parties. According to neighbors, they call the police to come and break up the gatherings but the cops merely administer a warning and drive off before the party attendants do.

When questioned why officers do not stay, the NYPD says it may be because they are called to other emergencies.
