Hit-and-run victim in Edenwald says police delayed coming to her aid

A Bronx teen injured in a hit-and-run accident Monday says police delayed coming to her aid.

The family of the 15-year-old girl claims officers arrived at their home two hours after the accident. However, a police source close to the investigation tells News 12 The Bronx officers from the 47th Precinct did follow police reports and they are investigating.

Meanwhile, police are still searching for the driver, who fled the scene. Anyone with any information is asked to call the 47th Precinct at (718) 920-1211.
