Cardinal Hayes and Cardinal Spellman football teams prepare to kick off

The intense rivalry between Cardinal Hayes High School and Cardinal Spellman High School will be seen on the field when the two teams go helmet to helmet in the September 24 football game.

Hayes will be stepping onto the field looking to redeem themselves after last week?s loss against St. Francis Prep. Spellman will be gearing up with a different story having won both of their games so far this season. Hayes head Coach C.J. O?Neil says he expects Spellman?s offense to put up a good run. Spellman head Coach Joe DeSimone says to beat Hayes, his team must be quick off the ball.

Last year, Spellman beat Hayes by one point.
