Legendary Bronx basketball figures inducted to hall of fame

It was a slam dunk for the Bronx when two legendary basketball coaches and one player were inducted into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame.

Coach Jack Curran, Coach John Bauch and player Lenny Rosenbluth were inducted during Thursday?s 16th annual induction ceremony. Curran was the coach for the Molloy College Lions. Bauch was both a player and a coach for the Fordham Rams. Rosenbluth won an NCAA title in 1957 when he played for the University of North Carolina.

The event was held at the New York Athletic Club.
