Ellis Avenue tenants still in the dark despite complaints to landlord

Tenants of an apartment building on Ellis Avenue voiced their disgust Wednesday over their landlord's inability to restore power and hot water.

The tenants say they have been in the dark and without hot water since Tuesday evening. They say they have yet to receive an answer from the building's management company as to when the problem will be fixed.

According to a Con Edison spokesperson, the problem is not on Con Ed's end. The spokesperson says there is a major issue but that it is something the landlord needs to repair.
