Power and hot water restored to residents on Ellis Avenue

Tenants at three Bronx buildings can finally see the light Thursday now that power has been restored.

Residents at 20-02 and 20-04 Ellis Avenue, and 20-06 Cross Bronx Expressway were without power and hot water since Tuesday night. The tenants say they contacted the buildings' management company but never received a response. They say they are concerned that the problem may happen again because the buildings are being operated on generator.

Meantime, a spokesperson for Con Edison said the problem was not on Con Ed's side.
