Judge's decision could affect Fulton Fish Market's move to the Bronx

The battle to bring the Fulton Fish Market to the Bronx continued Wednesday after a judge issued a decision supporting the company that unloads fish at the market. Laros Service System recently filed a lawsuit against the city to keep the unloading jobs when the market moves to Hunts Point. The judge ruled that the contract Laros has with the merchants should carry over when the market moves. City officials argue merchants should be allowed to unload their own fish and plan to file an appeal immediately.
