Mustangs hang on to the ball to beat Wadleigh

The Harry S. Truman High School football team hosted Wadleigh High School Sunday looking to improve their 2-2 record to 3-2, and they did.

The Mustangs proved they were looking for a win right from the start. At halftime, Truman took a 15-minute break after earning a 14-point lead, with a score of 20-6. The Mustangs came back out and didn?t let their guard down winning the game 26-14.

The Mustangs will take the field again on October 15 when they play Adlai Stevenson.
