Deadline fast approaching for Bronx residents to register to vote

Time is running out for Bronx residents to register to vote in the upcoming November election.

Come Friday, anyone who has not registered with the Board of Elections will not be able to vote. Residents can register at the board or any library, post office or city agency. Board of Elections officials say it is important for residents to vote. They say voter turnout in this year's primaries was the lowest the city has seen.

Some registered voters say they believe voter turnout is low because politicians are out of touch with Bronx residents.
