New study shows Hispanics in BX, city are facing housing crisis
A new study says Hispanics in the Bronx and citywide are dealing with a housing crisis.
The study by the New York Latino Research Network shows that a growing number of Hispanics are living in overcrowded and dangerous housing. According to the study, Hispanics currently live in homes with structural damage, plumbing issues and rodents.
Bronx officials like Assemblyman Peter Rivera (D-BX) are using this study to spearhead legislation to improve Hispanic living standards.
