Maritime College meets its new basketball players and coaches

College basketball season is starting to take to the court and Maritime College in Throgs Neck is no exception.

The Privateers introduced both new players and new head coaches for their 2005-2006 season. Tom Spina stepped onto the court as the new head coach for the men?s team and Michelle DiCostanza for the women?s. Both the men and women players stepped onto the court during Monday?s practice game turned pep rally.

The student body cheered receptively during the co-ed game that was filled with slam dunks and school spirit.
