Bronx museum paints picture of African-American history

The Bronx County Historical Museum opened two exhibits Saturday that offers residents a chance to broaden their palette of knowledge on local African-American history.

The exhibits, ?The Bronx African American Experience? and ?Morrisania Memories,? feature music, oral histories and photographs of multiple Bronx black figures. Caretakers say the exhibits are a great opportunity to discover Bronx pioneers and to see how local neighborhoods have transformed through time.

The exhibits will remain open until the beginning of Spring 2006.
