Cyclists see the Bronx from atop two wheels

The wheels were turning as cyclists where saying Vive la Bronx during the 11th annual Tour de Bronx Sunday.

The tour is the largest free cycling event throughout the five boroughs. More than 1,500 participants had the option to ride between 25 to 40 miles throughout the borough. After burning beaucoup calories, cyclists relaxed during the festival and jazz concert.

The event, which was sponsored by Transportation Alternatives and Bronx borough President Adolfo Carrion, Jr., gave free helmets to the first 150 children who registered at the event.
