Family of slain Bronx mother speaks out against domestic violence

The family of a Bronx mother allegedly killed at the hands of her boyfriend is spreading the message that domestic violence can be deadly.

Family members of 22-year-old Nelly Rosado say her boyfriend abused her physically, mentally and emotionally. But they say they never imagined that the arguments between the two would escalate to her death. Rosado was strangled in her Mount Eden apartment back in March.

Rosado?s family says Nelly might still be alive if they had seen the signs and encourage all Bronx residents to take a stand against abuse.
