The third annual DiVA Talk encouraged people to speak out about domestic violence Wednesday at Hostos Community College.

The program was an open forum discussion that allowed audience members to ask experts various questions. Some of the topics included intervention programs, prevention programs and programs to help domestic violence victims.

Experts also told attendees that there is help for children who have witnessed violence in their home. They say education about domestic violence should always start at home.
