Lehman cross-country runner wins back-to-back titles

Lehman College cross-country runner Amy Ruston has won two consecutive cross country championships.

Ruston finished her second championship breaking the record of 19 minutes that she set last year. In 2004, Ruston dominated the competition setting a record in winning the CUNY cross-county Championships and winning the Atlantic Regional Race.

The Lehman women finished with three runners in the top 10 and came away with the Lightning?s first CUNY Athletic Conference Women?s Cross Country Championship. With the win, Ruston again qualifies for the Atlantic Regionals with her eyes on the national championship.
