Residents and businesses upset over muni-meters along Morris Park Avenue

Residents and businesses say they are upset over muni-meters along Morris Park Avenue that were installed in June.

Residents say the meters, which span for two blocks, are taking away parking spaces. Neighbors say instead of parking closer, drivers are creating large gaps. Business owners say they are losing customers due to the meters. Members of Community Board 11 say placing parking lines on the street would help alleviate the problem.

The Department of Transportation says it is reviewing whether to remove the meters.
