Mayoral candidates wait for Bronx and other voter results

Bronx residents along with mayoral candidates Michael Bloomberg (R-NY) and Democrat Fernando Ferrer headed to the polls Tuesday.

Before Election Day, several polls predicted Bloomberg was leading with a large marginal difference. However, Bloomberg and Ferrer share one common viewpoint ? the polls are not the decisive factor, the election is what counts. Both candidates voted early in the morning and wasted no time campaigning for last minute votes.

Bloomberg and Ferrer are waiting at their campaign headquarters as the results come in. Bloomberg?s headquarters is on 7th Avenue in Manhattan, while Ferrer is camping out on Park Avenue.Click here to view more on Bloomberg.Click here to view more on Ferrer.
