Mustangs hope for second chance at victory against Grady

The winter temperatures may be here but high school football fields are still hot during the 2006 PSAL Cup Tournament. One Bronx team, Harry S. Truman, felt that heat when it played William E. Grady.

Going into Sunday?s game, the Truman Mustangs were a second seed team with an 8-1 record while Grady was ranked third seed with an 8-1 record. The Mustangs and Grady had battled it out earlier in the season, with Grady taking the win. However, during the second time around the Mustangs were still not able to pull out a victory losing 22-14.

This was the first time in 11 years, the Mustangs have made it to the playoffs.
