Several gang members busted in sweep of Co-op City

Fourteen gang members suspected of illegal drug and gun dealing were arrested Thursday in a sweep of Co-Op City.

During the past year, police say they bought $10,000 worth of crack cocaine and 16 guns from the suspects. All of the guns were from out of state, and police say it was part of an illegal gun trafficking operation.

Police are still searching for three more suspects. Robert Jones, Michael Brown, and Jared Gomez are all considered armed and dangerous.
