Doctors urge Bronx residents to get regular check-ups

Many people don?t want to go to the doctor unless they?re really ill, but doctors say that needs to change.

Medical experts are advising Bronx residents to get regular check-ups. Doctors are urging people to get certain tests even if they don?t feel sick. Doctors say regular screenings for blood pressure and cholesterol can save lives. Eating healthy and exercising also adds to a healthy lifestyle.

Doctors also recommend people in their 20s and 30s get their blood pressure and cholesterol checked and people in their 50s get colorectal and prostate exams.
