Drug bust nets seven arrests in Pelham Bay

Seven people have been arrested in connection with a drug bust in Pelham Bay Thursday. The arrests come after a 14-month investigation into drug trafficking in the area. According to police, two undercover police officers were able to infiltrate the organization that made and sold crack cocaine and heroin at five Bronx locations.The suspects were arraigned Thursday. If convicted the group faces a maximum sentence of 20 years to life in prison.
