Business back to normal on Jerome Avenue following fire

Business on Jerome Avenue between Marcy and Elliot places is finally returning to normal.
Four months ago, several businesses were destroyed when a six-alarm fire ripped through the area. Many residents living in apartments were also left homeless. The October fire was the third to hit the same area of Jerome Avenue. Firefighters have ruled that all three fires were suspicious.
Storeowners say since the fires, business has not been the same. In addition, at least three families have been permanently displaced. The owners who lost everything say they still have not found new locations to set up shop.
Firefighters have yet to determine what caused the fire.
