A popular yacht and beach club on City Island was destroyed in a four-alarm fire Friday morning. Fire officials say the blaze began around 1:30 a.m. at the Morris Yacht and Beach Club on City Island

Popular yacht club on City Island destroyed in four-alarm fire
A popular yacht and beach club on City Island was destroyed in a four-alarm fire Friday morning.
Fire officials say the blaze began around 1:30 a.m. at the Morris Yacht and Beach Club on City Island Avenue. It took firefighters approximately four hours to get the fire under control.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Three firefighters sustained minor injuries and were treated at Jacobi Medical Center.
