Bronx boy injured by falling brick from vacant building

? A Bronx boy is recovering after a brick fell from a building and hit him on the head.

The 12-year-old was injured Saturday while walking along Beaumont Avenue. A fire official says the brick fell from a vacant building. Authorities blocked off the area to prevent more injuries and to assess the damage.

The boy was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
