Monroe College gives Lady Mustangs high-kicking sendoff for national title

? The Mustangs and Player of the Year Fantasia Goodwin are in upstate New York to open the first round of the NJCAA Division III tourney.

The school held a pep rally for the top-seeded Mustangs, which will play eighth seed Gateway Community College from Connecticut. The Lady Mustangs have a 33-0 record.

Monroe needs to win three games in three days to lock down its first national championship.
