The Rams have taken over first place in the Atlantic 10 by sweeping the Owls over the weekend. Temple held Fordham hitless into the fifth but in the sixth the Rams went up 2-0 with a hit into left center

The Rams have taken over first place in the Atlantic 10 by sweeping the Owls over the weekend.
Temple held Fordham hitless into the fifth but in the sixth the Rams went up 2-0 with a hit into left center by junior Brian Kenny. The Rams pitching kicked in with Javier Martinez striking out 14 batters. Martinez and closer James Sammut set a school record for a combined 19 strikeouts. Fordham took Game 1 by a score of 2-0 and Game 2 by a score of 6-2.
The Rams hope to keep up their first-place status heading into the Atlantic 10 tournament in May.
