Memorial held for two slain policeman from the Bronx
Hundreds of police officers and veterans hopped on their motorcycles and donated money in honor of two fallen police officers. Bronx residents Daniel Enchautegui and Eric Hernandez were remembered at a memorial held in Battery Park. Just a few months ago Enchautegui was killed while trying to stop two burglars. Hernandez lost his life in a case of mistaken identity. The riders each donated $10.00 to the men?s? families. Both families have started scholarships in honor of the two officers. The money raised from the event will go to both. The Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club is planning to hold another event at the Bronx VA Hospital. There, veterans will get together and have a picnic.
