Bronx residents may soon have an easier time finding a job
Bronx residents may soon have an easier time finding work in the next few years.
A Center for an Urban Future report shows tens of thousands of jobs will open up over the next decade and many of those jobs won?t require a college degree. According to the report, the reason for so many job openings is due to baby boomers retiring and many upcoming construction projects throughout the city. Also, hospitals and other facilities are constantly hiring with the ongoing nursing and technician shortage.
Many of the jobs opening up with be in construction, nursing, commercial driving and auto repair. The report shows employers will be willing to pay new workers well for their services.
