Suspicious fire forces evacuations at Mount Eden public school

? Fire officials are investigating a suspicious fire at a Mount Eden public school that led to evacuations Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to the fire at P.S. 199 at 1449 Shakespeare Ave. about 10:30 a.m. Dozens of students had to leave the school. A chief says the flames started in a third floor storage area, causing nearby books and desks to catch fire.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
