Bronx natives inducted into Bronx Walk of Fame

Some accomplished Bronx natives were honored Saturday when they were inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame on the Grand Concourse.

Author Mary Higgins Clark, who says she faced plenty of rejection before getting her books published, says she is honored. Tony winner Manny Azenberg, who produced hits like ?Lost in Yonkers,? says his induction means a lot to him. Other inductees include percussionist Bobby Sanabria, football Hall of Famer Art Donovan, the princess of salsa La India and television newsman Tony Guida.

Borough President Adolfo Carrión Jr. says the Walk of Fame is proof that Bronx natives can accomplish whatever they put their minds to. A parade usually follows the induction ceremony, but it was canceled due to the rain.
