OK mother explains why Bronx woman should be able to adopt her children

The Oklahoma mother who wanted her friend from the Bronx to adopt her children is speaking out about her wishes for her children.
Bronx resident Aida Colon says she was supposed to adopt her friend?s children but a mistake in Oklahoma?s child welfare services forced her to send the children back to their former foster parents in Oklahoma. Victoria Diaz, the children?s biological mother, says through a web of drugs, abusive boyfriends and lies she lost custody of her kids. Diaz says Colon would be able to give the children the loving home they need. Diaz explains that Colon was her babysitter when she was growing up.
According to Diaz, Fred Woodrow, a child welfare agent from Oklahoma, promised that her children would be adopted by Colon. However, Diaz claims Woodrow made mistakes and now the children are living with unfit parents. Diaz adds that though she doesn?t formally have rights to her children, she will fight alongside Colon to make sure the kids go back to the Bronx.
