Judge rules first responders can sue city for 9/11 health problems

A state judge has ruled that 9/11 first responders can sue the city for health problems resulting from their work at ground zero.
The judge said even though they missed the 90-day deadline, workers may not have realized their problem until it was too late. Mayor Bloomberg (R-NY) objected to the ruling and city lawyers say they are considering an appeal. First responders who want to report a 9/11-related illness can call the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association at (212) 298-9162.
