Mount Eden homeowners feel dumped on by mounting trash

Some Mount Eden homeowners are down in the dumps over how their neighborhood has become overrun with trash and rodents.

Although signs warning against illegal dumping are posted, bags overflowing with trash are on the ground next to them. Residents fear for their health and have contacted the city?s 311 information line to ask for more trash pickups

Homeowners have also teamed up with their community board to post new illegal dumping signs along E. 174th Street between Weeks and Clay avenues.
