Rams name team captains before gridiron battle against Monmouth

The Fordham University football team has named its four captains ahead of the season kickoff, but one player will never take to the field.

Head Coach Tom Masella picked running back James Prydatko and linebacker Marcus Taylor, who served as a captain last year. Pre-season Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Year Micah Clukey also made the cut. Safety Carl Garritano will be a captain, despite the fact that an injury will sideline him for the entire season.

The captains will witness the coin toss as the Rams play against Monmouth Saturday.
