Bronx football players suit up for Nassau Community College in push to go pro
A pair of football players from the Bronx are suiting up for Nassau Community College in the hopes they?ll make it to top college programs, and someday the pros.
Former JFK standout Nerraw McCormack is an offensive lineman and Lawrence Rolle is a running back for Nassau. They were on the field when the school hit the gridiron against Fordham?s junior varsity squad. Nassau went on to defeat the Rams 16-6.
Nassau Community College has gained national recognition as a breeding ground for athletes who went on to play for top schools like Penn State and Arizona.
