Kingsbridge Heights residents discuss violence and drugs

Kingsbridge Heights residents gathered Thursday to discuss a variety of topics at a community meeting.

One community leader says the recent increase in violence should be stopped. Residents say they are tried of the illegal activity that seems to be taking over their streets. Ideas were discussed about what should be done to stop the violence and crime as well.

The redevelopment of the Kingsbridge Armory was also a concern of some residents. Some suggestions for what should be built were a movie theater, several schools or a shopping center. Residents say it doesn?t matter what is built as long as it brings more jobs to the area.
