New Web site designed to help BX students with high school applications

With the high school application deadline approaching, the city and the group ACORN have launched a new Web site to help Bronx students with the process.

ACORN officials say NYCSchoolfinder.com is Web-based campaign aiming to provide students and parents the help they need to pick the right high school. The site also helps students get through the application process.

ACORN will be running more than 100 educational workshops for families until the December 1 application deadline. The group will offer guidance navigating through the Web site.
