Partnership promises medical supplies to Bronx HIV/AIDS patients

HIV/AIDS patients have a new resource to fight the virus thanks to a partnership between a Mott Haven organization and a global health foundation.

Cardinal Health Foundation is providing supplies such as gloves, wheelchairs and vitamins to Mott Haven?s World Vision Storehouse. The Bronx organization will then give the items to nonprofit groups that serve the HIV/AIDS community. Officials say the partnership is an important one because some supplies are not covered through insurance.

Cardinal Health Foundation also plans to provide education and preventative care resources in the Bronx.Related InformationWorld Vision
