Fire rips through family's store in Riverdale
A Bronx decorating store went up in smoke Monday night after a two-alarm fire ripped through it. More than 120 firefighters responded to the fire at 262nd Street and Broadway in Riverdale. The owners of the business say they're in shock to see their store destroyed and a relative of the owners says the fire will mean a hardship for the family. The fire department said two neighboring stores, including a Chinese restaurant, suffered smoke and water damage.Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
