A Bronx teen tragically lost his life Thursday as he attempted to cross the Hutchinson River Parkway.Police say Louis Seda was filling in for his uncle at a Citgo station the night of the accident. According to police, he was crossing the roadway to get change for a customer when he was struck by a woman driving a 1999 Nissan Altima. The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries. Seda died of severe head trauma at Jacobi Medical Center.A fellow Citgo employee says they are often forced to cross the Hutchinson Parkway to get to their other gas station for supplies. Some Bronx drivers say that is an unfair expectation for employees and an unfair risk for drivers. The Department of Transportation says it will investigate the need for a pedestrian crosswalk over the roadway.
