Monroe College's Lady Mustangs were looking to add another hoops win to their hot streak as Hostos Community College hoped for an upset Wednesday.

Monroe's Angela Pace nailed a three-pointer and scored 21 points, but Hostos wouldn't give up. Charisma Carter also scored a three-pointer and racked up 10 points to help her team gain the lead at halftime. The Mustangs eventually pulled out the 76-58 win. Some Hostos players objected to Monroe's post-game celebration on the court.

The win marks Monroe's 73rd-straight victory.
