Students suspended at Mount Saint Michael Academy because of late tuition payments

Students at Mount Saint Michael Academy say dozens of their classmates were suspended Tuesday because of late tuition payments.Parents say school officials called the students down to the office and made them leave the campus. Some say they were forced to take cabs home or walk to the train station several blocks away. One parent says it concerns her that the school would make students leave without knowing if their parents were home. The school's president says parents and students are given multiple warnings when there is an outstanding balance. The president says the real problem is parents that don't communicate with the school.
