Rice takes aim at third-straight New York Archdiocese title
New York's top-ranked boys basketball team, Rice, recently battled Monsignor Farrell in the New York Archdiocese semifinals.The Raiders' Chris Fouch helped Rice get a 14-4 run early in the game. Farrell rallied to a two-point lead in the fourth quarter. Rice's Kemba Walker, who scored 17 points during the matchup, came to the rescue with a three-pointer. The Raiders held on to the lead and pulled off a 56-41 win.
Rice will advance to play St. Raymond in the championship game.
