Police search for attempted child abductor in the Bronx

Police are searching for a man they say has allegedly attempted to abduct three teenage girls. Police say on March 7, the suspect approached a 15-year-old girl on University Avenue and grabbed her hand, but she managed to get away. Police say later that same day, he unsuccessfully attempted to coax another young girl to get into his car on Andrew Avenue. Then on March 9, the man got out of his car and tried to chase down a teenage girl. Police are urging anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
