Pushed out of Manhattan, Wal-Mart eyes the Bronx
After being pushed out of Manhattan, Wal-Mart is eyeing properties in the four surrounding boroughs, including the Bronx. But just as in its Manhattan push, the world's largest retailer is being met with union opposition. The unions fear Wal-Mart won't hire Bronx residents or pay fair wages.
