Double parking means double headaches in the Bronx
Some Pelham Bay residents say they are getting annoyed with double-parked cars while people attend Mass.
Those who live near Saint Theresa?s Church say they are tired of being blocked in on Sunday mornings. People who work at the church say the only place parishioners can park is on the street. They hope they can somehow work with the community on the issue. One worker suggested residents speak with an usher if they are blocked in and the usher can make an announcement during Mass.
While some residents say double parking is a nuisance, others say there is no easy solution to the problem. Church workers say Saint Theresa?s has been on the block for decades and they have received few complaints.
